Elaeagnus leaves turning yellow

Rust often appears as small bright orange yellow or brown pustules on the underside of leaves. The phyllosticta leaf spots disease phyllosticta argyrea causes black or light to dark brown spots to appear on foliage. Elaeagnus drooping and turning yellow posted on shoot.

My elaeagnus is dying after 20 years elaeagnus planted more than 20 years ago now has crinkled leaves and looks as if it s dying. Most rusts are host specific and overwinter on leaves stems and spent flower debris. If touched it will leave a colored spot of spores on the finger.

Thanks katy i had a fear it may be verticillium wilt but wasn t sure how to test for it. Elaeagnus ebbingei we have lots of 10 litre stock turned yellowish colour. Is this normal q.
